by | November 5, 2014

You asked for it and it’s here! Many thanks to our customers and partners that provided feedback on features and functionality for our 5.0 release. It’s been a lot work to develop and QA – but we think the results will speak for themselves.

We managed to pack in over 15 feature requests from prospects and customers, so we are looking forward to seeing how this release improves usability for our user base. We have new features in IPAM, DNS, Peering, Resources, API, etc.

Check out the updated release notes here:

Some notable features:
– Peering Module was completely revamped (see release notes for screenshots!)
– IPAM received multiple feature enhancements, including new tag editing functions, additional API flexibility, and
– Resource Importer – officially out of “beta” and has loads of new features. Allows for simple importing of CSVs into your ProVision instance using our own API.
– Numerous usability enhancements

As always – feedback is welcome and if you want a demo or talk IPAM strategies with our engineers – hit us up any time at

– From the 6connect Team

“We decided to move our rather complex IP address and DHCP management process to ProVision and it has worked out great for us!! The team at 6connect were very flexible and went above and beyond to accommodate our requirements and helped to make the migration as smooth and hitch free as possible. Kudos to the team @ 6connect!”
